Brik Partners is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to drive business insights and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
– Collect, process, and analyze large and complex data sets from various sources
– Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models
– Identify patterns, trends, and insights from data to support business objectives
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and provide data-driven solutions
– Design and implement data pipelines and data visualization dashboards
– Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
– Stay updated with the latest data science techniques, tools, and industry trends
Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or related role
– Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data mining techniques
– Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL
– Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
– Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
– Knowledge of data warehousing and database management systems
– Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
– Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics)
– Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
– Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
– Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
– Experience in a specific industry domain (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.)
