Overview:

Brik Partners is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing cloud operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure, deploying applications, and managing our cloud ecosystem on AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage highly available and fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, ELB, Auto Scaling, VPC, CloudFront, and more

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments on AWS

• Configure and manage AWS monitoring and logging solutions like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and centralized logging

• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements on AWS

• Optimize AWS costs through proper resource planning, monitoring, and rightsizing

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance DevOps workflows and practices

• Provide technical guidance and training to other team members

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or similar cloud engineering role

• Strong proficiency with AWS services and architectural best practices

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline)

• Scripting abilities in languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby

• Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS)

• Familiarity with security concepts like IAM, security groups, encryption

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications (DevOps Professional, Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin)

• Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment

• Knowledge of AWS advanced services (Lambda, Step Functions, X-Ray)

• Background in software development principles and practices
